Submittal of Fermi 2 Updated Final-Rafety Arudvain Ramort Pursuant to 18CFR59.71(e), Detroit Edison hereby submits the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) for Fermi 2 S e signed original and ten additional copies of the UFSAR are enclosed; one copy will be s@mitted to Region III and one copy to the site inspector.
He UFSAR contains all necessary changes since s2mittal of Post % Revision 1 in March 1985 and is considered accurate to Septenber 29, 1986, six months prior to this submittal. Otanges made under the provisions of 19CFR59.59 are r @orted pursuant to 18CFR59.59(b).
%e UFSAR has been prelared according to the format of Regulatory Guide 1.79, Revision 1, and is an update of the original FSAR. Where applicable, Appendices to the original FSAR have been incorporated in the body of the text. This initial UFSAR is a " clean" document without change bars or revision riunbers.
Appendix 9A, " Fire Protection Analysis and Review of.
Appendix A to BTP APGB 9.5-1" assunes NRC approval of Proposed Technical Specification Change -(License Amendment) - Fire Suppression Systems (3/4.7.7),
VP-NO-87-9919, duted March 6, 1987. It is understood that such approval will be forthmming and this change has been included in Appendix 9A so that the UFSAR will be accurate at the time the Technical Specification is approved. %is information is being submitted under separate cover. Detroit Edison will cuttinue to follow the Technical Specifications until such time as the change is approved.-
