The purpose of this letter is to inform you of organization changes in Region III. Mr. James G. Keppler has been detailed to head a new Office of Special Projects responsible for the TVA and Comanche Peak Projects.
I have been appointed Acting Regional Administrator until the major NRC reorganization becomes effective in April. At that time I will become the Regional Administ, '. tor.
I have assigned Dr. Carl J. Paperiello as the Acting Deputy Regional Administrator and Mr. Nicholos J. Chrissotimos as Acting Director, Division of Reactor Safety. Carl had been the Director, Division of Reactor Safety and Nick was his Deputy. The permanent assignment of the Deputy Regional Administrator will be determined at a later date.
Enclosed are updated organization charts for Region III.
I look forward to continued productive and professional relations between us and our organizations.
