Special Report Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) 3.7.9 of the Trojan Technical Specifications requires the submittal of a Special

' Report if a 3-hour fire barrier is nonfunctional for greater than seven days.

On February 20, 1987 the west wall of the Turbine Building Electrical Switchgear Room was determined to be nonfunctional for greater than 7 days.

During the installation of new equipment, a void in the west wall of the Turbine Building Switchgear Room was dis-covered.

The void is assumed to have existed from original construction, and is being evaluated under Nonconformance s

Report 87-025.

Compensatory measures described in Technical Specification 3.7.9 were fulfilled on February 20, 1987.

The estimated date for repair and return to service is May 1, 1987.
