-NOTICE OF VIOLATION On February 26,1 1987,-the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's. Region IV office was
-informed'that Lubbock Labs, Inc. had conducted moisture / density measurement
. activities:at Reese Air Force Base on February 18,.1987.
Failure to: inform the NRC of.your intent to conduct activities at Reese AFB is a violation'of-Section 150.20 of Title 10,. Code of. Federal Regulations, Part 150..5ection 150.20(b)-states, in part:

Any person engaging in activities in non-Agreement States under'the general license provided in this cection shall, at least 3 days before engaging in-each such activity, file four copies of Form NRC-241 (revised).and four copies of its Agreement State specific license with'the Administrator of the NRC. Regional Office listed in
. Appendix 0 of Part 20 of this chapter for the region in which the Agreement' State that issued the license is located.
This Notice of Violation is sent to you under the provisions of Section.2.201 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations.
Section 2.201 requires you to submit to this office, within 30 days'of your receipt of this notice, a written statement or explanation ir.
reply including:
(1) corrective steps which have been taken by you, and (2)-corrective-steps which will be taken to avoid this happening in the future.
The response directed by this notice is not subject to the clearance
. procedures'of.the Office ~of Management and Budget as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of -1980, PL 96-511.
We request that you give prompt attention to these matters.
