1985 hadiological Emergency Response Plan Exercise Gentlemen:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the deficiency identified by Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in their evaluation of the subject exercise has been closed.
The deficiency concerned the monitoring and decontamination procedures at the Anderson County relocation / reception center (Reference 1).
A remedial exercise was held at Anderson County relocation / reception center to demonstrate the adequacy of the revised radiological monitoring procedures.
As documented in Reference 2,
FEMA states that the performance of the procedures was adequate and that the deficiency will be closed out once the revised procedures are reviewed and determined adequate.
The attached FEMA letter documents that the procedure review has been coiapleted and the revised procedures were found to adequately address current FEMA guidance.

/ Reception Center Monitoring and Decontamination Procedures The Wolf Creek Generating Station revised Host County Relocation / Reception Center monitoring and decontamination procedures have been reviewed.
All inadequacies and suggestions for improvement identified during the Regional Assistance Committee (RAC) review have been appropriately incorporated into the procedures.
These revised procedures vill close the dettefency identified during the previous exercis'e concerning monitoring and decontamination procedures At the Anderson County relocation / reception center.
The procedures adequately address current FD4A guidance.
