Dear Mr. Denton:
The resolution of the subject confirmatory item as stated in the SER is based upon " confirmation of the installation and FSAR revision." The referenced letter confirmed,that the FSAR was changed for both Units 1 and 2.
Clarification was, however, requested by your staff on the installation status. The hardware modifications necessary to implement this design change have been installed on Unit 1.
The Unit 2 installation has not been completed. Georgia Power Company will advise your staff when the Unit 2 installation is completed.
If your staff requires any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me..
