CONFIRMATION OF ACTION LETTER This is to confirm the conversation between you and Dr. Dale Powers of our staff on October 8, 1988.
Based on this conversation, it is my understanding that. Basin Testing Laboratories, Inc. is taking the following action.
Suspend, in areas of NRC jurisdiction, all activities involving radioactive material licensed by any Agreement State. Areas of NRC jurisdiction include all nonagreement states, such as Wyoming, Montana, Minnesota, and South Dakota, and all areas within Agreement States in which there is exclusive federal jurisdiction.
The suspension of these activities will continua until NRC concurs on the resumption of such generally licensed operations.
Issuance of this :onfi ",ation of action letter does not preclude the issuance of an order formalizing the above commitments.
