Parameter Display System (SPDS) Validation and Verification (V&V) report.

This report documents the results of p,rformance valida-tion tests and field verification tests performed to ensure that the Hope Creek SPDS is acceptable and meets the applicable requirements of NUREG-0737, Supplement 1.

i The results of the dynamic portion (man-in-loop) of the performance validation test are not included in this report.

Also, a number of discrepancy reports are included with this l

document.

The majority of these discrepancies have been resolved l

j as indicated in the enclosed reports, and will be closed upon the j

issuance of updated PSE&G documents.

The appropriate document

)

updates will be completed by December 31, 1988.

Nine discrepancies remain open.

Of the nino, four require minor system retesting to close.

Retesting of three of these items will be completed by October 15, 1988.

The remaining retest requires a shutdown to complete.

This retest will be performed during the mid-cycle outage scheduled for January 1989.

These four items are not considered to be operability concerns as discussed with D. Allsopp, Hope Creek Resident Inspector.

other items are open pending receipt of vendor documents and incorporation of these documents into PSE&G documents.
