Dear Ms. Horne:

Enclosed, per our discussion several weeks ago, are tables summarizing the contamination surveys of building interior surfaces, at UNC's Wood River Junction Plant. Table A presents the results of the initial surveys, indicating the number of grid blocks which exceeded the release guidelines. Each of these blocks is addressed individually la Table B, w1Lh the flual survey or other resolution of the residual contamination indicated. As I stated in our discussion, it is my opinion that the building surfaces now satisfy the NRC guidelines for release from licensing restrictions.
