This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.

The Weekly Information Report for the week ending June 6, 1986, (page C-2) describes the formation of a joint NRC-DOE study team to study the comparability of safeguards for Category I fuel facilities. We would like to obtain the following documents pertaining to the study:

(1) Minutes and other records of the May 6 meeting between Safeguards staff and DOE representatives to outline conditions of the joint study.

(2) The agreed Terms of Reference for the study transmitted by DOE on May 27.

(3) Minutes and other records of the initial meeting of the joint study team, which was tentatively scheduled during the week of June 9, and of any subsequent meetings which may have taken place.

"Other records" in (1) and (3) above includes viewgraphs, handwritten notes, lists of agenda items, and documents distributed to attendees.

We request that these documents be placed in the Public Document Room.
