MERRIFIELD X X X 2/11/99 COMMENT RESOLUTION in their vote sheets, Commissioners Dieus, Diaz, and Mehifield disapproved the staffs recommendation to address employee protection requirements in Agreement States by shifting applicable regulations to compatibility category C. Chairman Jackson and Commissioner McGaffigan approved the staff recommendation to make employee protection requirements a compatibility category C item. The Commission did not object to notifying Agreement States of the OSHA posting requirements. Subsequently, the comments of the Commission were incorporated into the guidance to staff as reflected in the SRM issued on March 12,1999.
