I wrote to you in January about our concern that Northeast Utilities was attempting to reopen Millstone's Nuclear Reactor #2.
As you know we on the East End of Long Island are becoming more and more adamant that we are the victims of that plant, which we consider unsafe and unhealthy to us, our children and our environment.
i Cur elected officials are behind us in our request that Reactor #2 at Millstone not be reopened until you at the NRC schedule a hearing I
here cn Long Island.
Please inform me as to what are NRC's plans for the evaluation of NU's reopening that Reactor and how~does the NRC respond to the needs of the public whose safety and health it is mandated to protect.
