Attention: George Knighton Generic Letter 68-11 presents Revision 2 to Regulatory Guide 1.99, Radiation Embrittlement of Reactor Vest.el Materials. Each licensee is required to provide a response within 180 days of the effective date (May 1988) of the Regulatory Guide.
The District, as a member of the B&W Owners Group, has had several discussions with members of the NRC Staff. The District understands that an acceptable response time is 180 days from issuance of Genaric Letter 88-11 (July 12, 1988). The District will submit the required response to Generic Letter 88-11 on or before January 9, 1989.
