Cooper Nuclear Station Safeguards Plan; Report of Change-Revision Number Seventeen
Dear Mr. Martin:
Changes to the Physical Security Plan and Contingency Plan (Volumes I and II of the Safeguards Plan) are being submitted to reflect recent changes at Cooper Nuclear Station. These changes include organizational restructuring, clarification o' Quality Assurance Auditing requirements and the availability of on duty armed guard personnel. These changes are annotated by sidebars.
Accordingly, Nebraska Public Power District is submitting, in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR Part 50.54(p), a Report of Change to the Cooper Nuclear Station Safeguards Plan, Revision Sixteen. Upon incorporation of this change, the current Safeguards Plan becomes Revision Seventeen. We believe the enclosed change does not decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan.
The material enclosed herewith contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10CFR Part 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited. Therefore, we request the material, with the exception of the covar letter, to be withheld from public disclosure.
