Attention: Mr. J. Nelson Grace In previous correspondence on this subject, Georgia Power Company described a potentially reportable concern whereby calculations were not performed to establish acceptance values for instrument cable internal resistance during accident conditions to ensure the accuracy of instrument signals.
Georgia Power Company's evaluation of this concern is dependent upon inputs from Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
Westinghouse has indicated that their input will be submitted in August 1986.
Georgia Power Company now expects to inform the USNRC of the results of its evaluation by August 29, 1986.
