FIRE PROTECTION
Dear Mr. Denton:
This is to inform you of an error which was discovered in Appendix 9A, page 9A.1.107-6 of the FSAR. The error was noted by an NRC inspector as Inspection Followup Item 424/86-64-04. It concerns the description of the extent of sprinkler coverage in fire zones 15 and 132.
A future FSAR amendment will be issued changing toe description of the automatic fire suppression coverage in fire zones 15 and 132 fro.n full to partial zone coverage and is necessary to reflect the as-built plant condition. The portions of theco fire zones which are not provided with automatic fire suppression coverage do not contain combustible material. This change does not constitute an additional deviation from the guidelines of NRC Branch Technical Position CMEB 9.5-1.
