Belflower, Quality Assurance Site Manager - Operations, notified Mr. M. V. Sinkule of the USNRC Region II of a potentially reportable condition associated with the solid state protection system relays.
This condition was initially identified during emergency safety function features actuation systea (ESFAS) testing and is documented in Operations Deficiency Report ODR T-1-86-4456.
Georgia Power Company is evaluating this condition for reportability and expects to inform the NRC of the results of the evaluation by January 16, 1987.
Corrective actions for the Unit 1 ESFAS have already been completed.
