Mr. Edward C. Wenzinger, Chief Projects Branch No. 3 Division of Reactor Projects Gentlemen:
This refers to inspection Report 50-317/86-16,50-318/86-16, which transmitted your concerns regarding the maintenance activities on No.12 Diesel Generator (DG). We understand your interest in our efforts used to resolve the gassing problem on the DG and we intend to address those concerns. As you probably know, No.12 DG is now repaired and back in operation.
In lieu of providing a lengthy response and explanation that may not answer all your questions, we propose to present our response to you orally in King of Prussia. We would like to provide a technical presentation to you and your staff sometime af ter January 28, 1987. The presentation's objective would be to address all your concerns and answer any additional questions. We believe that this interaction would be more effective than a written response, and that it would successfully resolve the issue.
Please let us know if our proposal is acceptable and when you would like to hold the meeting. We look forward to hearing from you.
