Shoreham Nuclear Power Statios Docket No. 50-322-OL-3
Dear Honorable Sirs,
Pursuant to the regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (10 CFR 552.715 (a] + [c]) and the panel's direction at the pre-hearing conference on July 8th, I am requesting as legal counsel to the Nassau County Board of Supervisors the permission of the panel to make a limited appearance solely for the purpose of giving a brief oral statement at any session of the scheduled hearing or pre-hearing conferences to explain Resolutions #782 and 782-B of 1986.
These resolutions were adopted by the Board of Supervisors on June 16, 1986 and relate to the use of Nassau County facilities, including the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in any evacuation plan of the Long Island Lighting company.
I would further request that the Secretary send an advisory notice of any scheduled hearing in this matter or adjournment thereof to me at One West Street, Mineola, N.Y.
