Alexander Nuclear Assessment Group Manager U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attention: Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 Docket No. 50.293 License No. DPR-35 P_larim Nuclear Power Station (PNPS) Simulator Four (4) Year Submittal In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 55.45(b)(5)(ii), Boston Edison Company submits its Simulator Four-Year Report. The PNPS cimulation facility is a plant-reference simulator as defined in 10 CFR 55.4. This report certifies the PNPS simulation facility to meet the recommendations of Regulator Guide 1. 449, Revision 1, " Nuclear Power Plant Simulation Facilities for Use in Operator License Examinations," dated April,1987, which refers to ANSI /ANS-3.5-1985, " Nuclear Power Plant Simulators for Use in Operator Training."
The eleven (11) exceptions identified in the enclosed four-year report do not directly impact the fidelity of operator training.
