Gentlemen:
Attached is Special Report (SR) Number SR-99-001-00 for Waterford Steam Electric Station Unit 3. This report provides the Refuel 9 Inservice inspection summary of steam generator tube plugging or sleeving. Since Waterford 3 has not installed sleeves, no sleeving information is provided in the attachment. This condition is being reported pursuant to 10CFR50.36(c)(2) and Technical Specifications 4.4.4.5.a and 6.9.2.

e SR-99-001-00 Steam Generator Eddy Current Examination (9th Refueling)
On March 6,1999, Waterford 3 completed a 100% inservice eddy current bobbin coil full length examination of each Steam Generator (S/G) and a 100% hot leg top of the tubesheet. This report is submitted in accordance with Technical Specification (TS) 4.4.4.5.a, which requires reporting the number of tubes plugged or sleeved in each S/G within 15 days of completing inservice inspection (ISI) of S/G tubes pursuant to TS 6.9.2. A follow-up report will be submitted in accordance with TS 4.4.4.5.b by March 6,2000.
The total number of tubes, which have been plugged in each S/G, is shown below:
