Nelson Grace In previous correspondence concerning this subject, Georgia Power Company described a potentially reportable concern involving the support of cable in long vertical raceway runs.
An engineering review of the cable tray is expected to be completed in July, 1986.
Since conduits are shown diagrammatically on the design drawings, a walkdown is required to identify the existence of long vertical safety-related conduit runs. An electrical walkdown is currently scheduled to begin in July, 1986.
Georgia Power Company now expects to inform the NRC of the results of the evaluation of this condition by September 26, 1986.
