Dear Mr. Keppler:
This follow-up letter is being submitted as committed to in my special report dated September 29, 1986.
On September 9,
- 1986, fire door 393 access to the Auxiliary Building access area from the Unit 1 Turbine Building was made inoperable by the insertion of a plywood panel into the door opening to allow for the installation of temporary air conditioning duct work.
This was necessitated due to problems with the IIVAC equipment for the Auxiliary Building access area.
Due to other priorities the problems with the !!VAC equipment have not been resolved to date.
We will notify you when this door has been returned to service.
Roving fire watch patrols continue to inspect the area as required by Technical Specification 3.7.10.
