DOCKETS 50-266 AND 50-301 PERIODIC UPDATING OF FINAL SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORT POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.71(e), Wisconsin Electric Power Company, Licensee for Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, submits the 1986 revision to the Point Beach Nuclear Plant Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR).
As requested, one original and twelve copies of these revised pages are being furnished under separate cover.
Each copy contains revised FSAR pages that are to be inserted in accordance with the accompanying instructions.
The information contained within the updated FSAR pages represents those changes made since our 1985 submittal which was necessary to reflect information and analyses submitted to the Commission or prepared pursuant to Commission requirements.
All changes made under the provisions of 10 CFR 59 which are included in this update have been previously identified to the Commission in the Annual Results and Data Report.
The most significant changes included in this update are listed below:

Description of the NCS Gas Vent System.
2.
Updated description of the Containment Radiation Monitoring System.

Description of the Auxiliary Safety Instrument Panel (ASIP) and associated systems.
4.
Updated description of station batteries, 125 DC system, and instrument bus power distribution.
5.
Updated description of plant Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP'G).
6.
Revisions to Section 1.8, Quality Assurance Program (detailed justification of these changes were provided in our June 27, 1986 submittal to the NRC Office of Inspection and Enforcement, Region III).
Copies of the 1986 update to the Point Beach FSAR will be submitted to the following state and local organizations.
