AGENDA FOR JAPAN VISIT Merbers of DRSP and DEST will be visiting Japan during the week of October 10, 1988 for further discussions with the Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry relating to the ABWR design certification review. There will.also be discussions with TEPCO, Toshiba and Hitachi relating to the same topic. On April 12, 1988 you were provided with a copy of a trip report covering the visit made by the staff in February 1988. The responses to questions asked by the staff during that visit were included as part of the report. We have enclosed a copy of these questions and responses for your consideration. We i
request that you review the Enclosure to identify areas which you would like to develop further or to add additional topic areas and questions related to the ABWR design and licensing process.
