Withdrawal of a Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station License Amendment Application

Application for Amendment of Facility Operating Licenses DPR-44 and DPR-56 filed on January 20, 1987
Dear Dr. Murley:
The referenced License Amendment Application concerned three separate topics involving changes to the Peach Bottom Unit 2 and Unit 3 Technical Specifications. Two portions of the Application were approved by the NRC and issued on July 18, 1988 as Amendment Nos. 133 and 136 to DPR-44 and DPR-56, respectively.

Philadelphia Electric Company hereby withdraws the remaining portion of the Application concerning the offsite power sources.
Following discussions with the NRC Peach Bottom Project Manager, the Company has decided to address the same matter in a separate Application to be submitted this year.
In the forthcoming Application the Company will address a concern the NRC staff has raised regarding the apparent ambiguity of a Limiting Condition for Operation revision proposed in the Application.
