ACTION:
Proposed rule: Extension of Coment period.
SutMARY: On December 2,1986, the Nuclear Regulatory Comission (NRC) published for public coment a proposed rule to relt.x the timing requirements for a full participation emergency preparadness exercise for power reactors to within two years prior to issuance of a full-power operating license from the current requirement of within one year of issuance of a full-power operating license. The notice provided that the coment period would expire on January 2, 1987. The NRC has received several requests from potential consnenters to extend the coment period to enable them to prepare adequate coments on the proposed rule.
In response to these requests, the NRC has decided to extend the coment period for an additional 10 days, to expire on January 12, 1987.
DATES: The coment period has been extended and now expires January 12, 1987.
Connents received after that date will be censidered if it is practical to do so, but assurance of consideration can be given only for coments received on or before that date.
