Exercise Report for the April 2, 1986, Exercise of Offsite Radiological Ehergency Preparedness Plans for Arkansas Nuclear One Attached are two copies of the exercise report for the April 2,1986, exercise of the offsite radiological emergency preparedness plans for Arkansas Nuclear One. This exercise report was prepared by the Region VI staf f of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

There were no deficiencies identified durity this exercise. However, there are several areas requiring corrective actions and several areas recommerried for impro/ement. A draf t copy of the exercise report was provided to the State of Arkansas for review and coment. Based on their revies, a schedule of corrective actions is included in this final exercise report. Therefore, the offsite radiolcgical emergency plans and preparedness are adequate to provide reasonable assurance that appropriate measures can be taken to protect the health and safety of the public in the event of an accident at Arkansas Nuclear One, arxl the 44 CFR 350 approval granted in January 1982 will remain in ef fect.
