/is required by 10CFR50, Appendix E, Section IVB, we are forwarding a revision of Emergency Action Level (EAL) 8.1.D for your approval. EAL 8.1.D, High Winds has been revised to include more specific measurable parameters and to more closely conform to the guidance contained in NUREG 0654/ FEMA-Rep-1. contains the existing 8.1.D and Enclosure 2 contains the revision of 8.1.D.
This revision has been reviewed by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Radiation Protection and they agree with the proposed changes, iWe request your review and approval within 30 days so that this EAL revision can become effective.
