MEETING, STATE OF CONNECTICUT AND NORTHEAST NUCLEAR ENERGY j
COMPANY (NNECo) i The State of Connecticut has requested that NNECo meet with them on December 16,1977, at 11:00 a.m. regarding the explosions which occurred in the Off Gas System on December 13,1977 (Ref PNO-77-220). The primary topic 4
of discussion is the timeliness of NNEco's report to the State on this event; however, other topics may.also be discussed.

NRC, Region I was requested by an Assistant to the Governor, to have a representative attend the meeting. Accordingly, the Prjncipal Inspector, 5
who is currently.at Millstone inspecting the event, and his Section Chief will attend.
NRC, Region I was also informed of this meeting by the President of NNECo.
