Dear Mr. Gambhir:

This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated December 10,1998, which transmitted changes to the Fort Calhoun Station Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure EPIP OSC-1, 1 Emergency Classification, Revision 30, under the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E, Section V.

Revision 30 to EPIP OSC-1 contained unchanged Emergency Action Levels (EALs) w5ch were revised in Revision 27 of this procedure issued on April 29,1997. These EALs were discussed in Section P8.1 of NRC inspection Report 50-285/99-03.

4 in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
