We have reviewed the reporting requirements for licensees subject to 10 CFR Part 75 and have found an error in the " Instructions for Completing Material Balance Report, Physical Inventory Listing and Concise Note Forms,"

NUREG/BR-007, which is referenced by 10 CFR 75.35. The error, found in the footnote on page 19 of the instructions, requires licensees perfonning an annual physical inventory to submit an additional Material Balance Report based on book inventory six months subsequent to the physical inventory. This footnote should be disregarded and Material Balance Reports should only be submitted within thirty (30) days after the start cf required physical inventories.
