Purpose:
To deliver a revised topical report (TR) for NAC's dry spent fuel storage cask design.
Discussion:
NRCdeliveredRevision1ofits"TopicalSafetyAnAlysisReportfortheNAC Storage / Transport Cask for Use at an Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation." This report and other material submitted related to the new cask fuel basket design and NAC's quality assurance program are separately docketed under Project Number M-40.
NAC has also volunteered to submit a revised series of responses to NRC staff comments in early January 1987 to illustrate how final responses to NRC staff comments have been made, design changes which have been made and where these items are to be found in the revised TR (This is to assist the NRC staff in completing their safety review of the TR).
