REQUEST TO PLACE A PACKAGE OF TWO LETTER REPORTS, ON PASSIVE AUTOCATALYTIC RECOMBINER (PAR) TESTING, IN THE PUBLIC DOCUMENT ROOM (PDR)
Please place in the Public Document Room the attachment titled "Results of the PP-1 and PP-2 PAR Experiments," dated June 17,1998, which includes the following letter reports:
1)
" Report on PAR Flow Measurements: The PP-1 Test," and 2)
" Report on Ignition Behavior of PARS: The PP-2 Test."
The s.bove stated reports have been reviewed for proprietary information by NIS which is the design developer and manufacturer of the PAR. in a letter to NRC dated July 30,1998, NIS indicates that there are no concerns regarding proprietary information for the above stated reports.
