SUBJECT:
REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE - FIN D1047 ICF Incorporated is assisting NMSS in implementing the financial assurance requirements of decomissioning regulations by providing technical support to the staff in their development of regulatory guidance documents such as standard review plans and standard format and content guides. .
It was originally anticipated that support work would corrence in November, 1987 and be completed in November, 1988. Since the final rule did.not go into ,
effect until July 27, 1988, it is requested that the period of perforrnance of the contract be extended from November 17, 1988 to July 31, 1989. This extension is at no additional cost to the government. The contractor is aware of and has agreed to this no. cost extension.
