Thank you for your letter dated May 20,1999, which responds to our letter dated April 21,1999, regarding our Notice of Violation (NOV) and Unresolved item (URI) identified previously in NRC

Inspection Report 99900003/1999201. We have reviewed your letter and find it generally responsive to the issues identified.

However prior to final closure of the NOV and URI, the documentation referenced in your letter and your actions to prevent recurrence will be reviewed during a future inspection to determine l-that full compliance has been achieved and will be maintained. We will also review the result: of your recent investigation regarding furnace blanking methods for Pellet Flouride and Powder / Pellet Chloride.-
