STAFF REQUIREMENTS - COMSECY-99-014 - DRAFT PRESS RELEASE AND FEDERAL REGISTER NOTICE TO SOLICIT QUALIFIED CANDIDATES FOR THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON REACTOR SAFEGUARDS The Commission has approved the proposed press release and Federal Reaister notice to solicit qualified candidates for possible appointment to the ACRS.
The Federal Reaister notice should be revised on page 2, paragraph 2, line 3 to read '. or l
systems engineering and thermal-hydraulics modeling as applied to nuclear plant systems.'
The Federal Reaister notice should be revised on page 2, paragraph 2 should be clarified by using semi-colons or reordering the phrases to clarify that the NRC is not limiting applicants to those who have extensive experience in the application of risk methods. Conforming changes should be made to the press release.
