6211-83-0497 Several questions have arisen concening special ow1uat'fons, or the ' lack of them, in the case of C. E. Husted.
The following facts am pertinent:
1.
The evaluation that I performed on October 26th,1982, occurred during the first wek of cycle 9-6, dich continued through December 3, 1982.
Other then.the first wek, the presentation I monitored has the only teaching assignment that Mr. Husted had for each wek of the cycle.
Therefom no enluation has conducted for the month of November,1982.
2.
Because of preparation 'for and conduct of the. written and arti annual requalification examinations for Unit - 1 in December; 1982, C.
ta ~== aa c i===== *='a'a9-==. ar a==t d'= arr-
$a class could not be monitored for the month of December.
3.
During both the November - December 1982 time frame and during January 1983, I did have occasion to monitor Mr. Husted's perfonnance more closely than usual.
In the first instance, Mr.
Husted and I were directly involved in the preparation of the written requalification examination. He wrote and keyed 3 of the RO sections and 2 of the SR0 sections.
I reviewed all sections of the exam and felt that he did a superb job.
.Not only wre the questions hell written and the keys thoroughly checked to make sure the answers wre cormet, but the time spent to produce a total of 15 sections of the material us extensive.
He wrked over 100 hours0.00116 days <br />0.0278 hours <br />1.653439e-4 weeks <br />3.805e-5 months <br /> of overtime to complete this task.
In fact his perfonnace has such that I have been remiss in not writing a,special letter of commendation for him.
observed Mr. Husted along with the mst of the U-1 IfcensedThrou instructors and Mr. Shipman from Operations during their simulator mqualification training. Because all the individuals except one wre SR0 licensed, they mtated assignments on a dail us able to observe him function as an R0, a foreman,y basis, so I and a supervisor. While I was seldom impressed with the group's ability to operate as a team, I has alwys pleased with their ability to operate the cor.trols, their demonstration of technical knowledge, and their attitudes tourds and diligence in following procedures.
Since they had never been required to function as a team with each other, in this type of environment, their difficulties in this area were expected.
