Dear Mr. Roy:
We have reviewed the available test results from the additional cement solidification testing that were transmitted with your letter of June 30, 1988. The matrix that was enclosed allows a better appreciation for the scope of your planned program in addressing the uncertainties related to cement solidification of low-level radioactive waste.
We look forward to your monthly submittals that will extend through January 1989, as the results become available within the testing program schedule. We encourage Hittman Nuclear to develop pertinent graphical plots for the accumulating results and data to permit meaningful evciuction of the trends and importance of the variables. Where appropriate, comparisons should be made with similar data previously furnished in your Topical Report.
We also ask that Hittman Nuclear either identify references previously furnished to the NRC, or provide with the next monthly submittal, specific information describing the chemical composition of the various waste streams that are being tested.
