PRIVATE FUEL STORAGE FACILITY DOCKET NO. 72-22 / TAC NO. L22462 PRIVA*IT FUEL STORAGE L.LC.
Private Fuel Storage L.L.C. submitted the Security Plan for the Private Fuel Storage Facility on June 20,1997. Subsequently, the NRC revised the regulations associated with the physical protection of spent fuel storage facilities (peblished in 10 CFR 73.51). Conseq Private Fuel Storage has revised their Security Plan to be in accordance with the requireme 10 CFR 73.51 and with the guidance of the associated Standard Review Plan, NUREG-1619.
The Security Plan has also been re-titled to " Physical Protection Plan", to be consistent with the terminology of the new regulations, and is enclosed.
The attachment to this letter contains Safeguards Information as identiSed by the Commission in 10 CFR Part 73, Section 73.21. The attached submittal should not be made availabic for laspection and should not be placed in the public document room.
