CHAPTER 8 EMERGENCY PLAN General Electric Company Nuclear Fuel & Compents Manufacturing facility shall maintain a capability.for handling emergencies in accordance with the Radiological Contingency & Emergency Plan, submitted to the NRC on August 27, 1981, supplemented on January 14, 1982, approved by the NRC on March 29, 1982, and as revised on April 4, 1984, February 25; 1985, November 8, 1985, and August 25, 1986, in accordance with regulatory provisions.
GE will make no changes to the Plan which would decrease its effectiveness without prior approval of the Commission.
Changes, which do not decrease the effectiveness of the Plan, will be reported within six months of the change to the Chief, Uranium Fuel Licensing Branch, Divicion of _ Fuel Cycle & Material Safety, Washington, D.
C., 20555.
The requirements of the Plan shall be implemented through approved written procedures maintaine'd by the licensee.
