Dear Ms. Garde:
This is in response to your letter dated March 4,1986, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), records related tc all audits by the Office of Inspector and Auditor (OIA) of the Office of Investigations (0I).
In a telephone conversation with you on September 24, 1986, we agreed that in response to your request, I would identify the OIA reports on 0I issued in 1983, 1984, and 1985. They are located in the liRC's Public Document Room, 1717 H Street, NW, Washington, DC, in folder FOIA-85-334 (Adato). Below I have listed the dates of the responses and document numbers which identify the three reports. They are as follows:
1983 Report: Appendix A, document # 15, 7/23/85 Letter 1984 Report: Appendix A, document # 23, 7/23/85 Letter 1985 Report: Appendix C, document # 13, 4/13/86 Letter Copies of these two response letters are enclosed.
In light of this letter, we are taking no further action on your March 24, 1986, letter appealing our lack of response to your F0IA request.
