Dear Dr. Ross:

Thank you for your letter dated August 6,1986.

Regulatory Commission. You also expressed concern regarding our training and experience requirements for physicians who use byproduct material.

The Comission staff is still examining the training and experience criteria.

If we propose a change in the criteria, there will be ample opportunity for public comment. Your concerns will be taken into consideration as the Commission develops a resolution to this issue.

I appreciate your comments and interest in our regulatory program.

Sincerely, b.
