Submittal of Revised Panes to Proposed Channe No.189 In response to a verbal request from the NRC staff for inclusion of certain additional information in the proposed Operating License and Technical Specification pages submitted.as part of Reference (a),

Vermont Yankee (VY) is hereby submitting the attached corrected pages. In addition to the requested changes, we are resubmitting nine Technical Specification pages that are different from the versions submitted with Reference (a) because the content that is being relocated to the Technical Requirements Manual has been changed by other amendments. Furthermore, due to content changes caused by our J

transition of the Technical Specifications to Microsoft Word, all five pages of the Definitions section are being submitted in place of the original submittal of Page 4. The corrected pages supplement our previous submittal, and should be substituted for the pages originally sent. The changes reflected in the replacement pages do not adversely affect the conclusions of the No SigniG ut liazards determination contained in Reference (a).

Regarding the administrative control provisions of Generic Letter (GL) 88-12, the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Safety and Audit Review Committee presently reviews: 1) the minutes of Plant Operation Review Committee (PORC) meetings containing PORC's recommendation for approval of Fire Protection Program and procedure changes, and 2) the details of any such changes requiring a 10CFR50.59(a)(2) safety evaluation. VY understands that our cunent practice satisfies the relevant criteria of GL 88-12.
