Christnot of the USNRC Region II of a potentially. reportable condition concerning site-designed cable splices using Raychem heat-shrinkable insulation.
Some Class 1E cable splices in LOCA/HELB areas may have been made using installation criteria for non-accident areas.
At this time, Georgia Power Company is evaluating this condition and expects to submit a final report of the evaluation results by October 1, 1986.
