July 1, 1986 TOWN OF AMESBURY'S RESPONSE TO ORDER OF THE ASLB TO COMPEL RESPONSES TO APPLICANT'S INTERR0GATORIES AND MOTION FOR PROTECTIVE ORDER.
1.
On April 5,1983, the Town of Amesbury, Massachusetts was admitted to the above captioned proceedings under the provisions of 10 CFR
{2.715(c)asaninterestedmunicipality.
2.
On March 31, 1986, the Town of Amesbury answered the February 28, 1986 order of the ASLB, stating with reasonable specificity the subject matters on which the Town wished to participate.
3.
The Town of Amesbury indicated a desire to participate in content. ions dealing with " Contiguous Jurisdiction Governmental Emergency Planning" (NUREG-0654, FEMA-REP-1, Rev.1, I-E, Example No. 2) and with any contentions of the KLD Associates ETE.
4.
Since there are presently no contentions admitted on the subjects of interest, the Town of Amesbury objects to the interrogatories and the request for production of documents on the ground that discovery 8607070206 860701 PDR ADOCK 05000443 U'

The Town of Amesbury therefore moves the Board for a protective order pursuant to 10 CFR 2.740(c) that discovery on the Town not be had.
