Enclosed please find a letter from General Electric requesting an amendment to export license XSNM01906 to increase the quantity of material authorized for export by an additional 2890 kilograms of uranium-235 (contained in 92,070 kilograms total uranium, enriched to 4.0 w/o maximum), for use as reload fuel in the Muhleberg nuclear power reactor in Switzerland.
A letter of assurance is required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement of cooperation. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurance letter will be appreciated.
