Planning and Safety Issues) and a Motion to Continue Hearing (Off-site Emergency Planning and Safety Issues).
In addition, SAPL wishes to advise.this Board that SAPL has an interest'in certain of the issues that are yet to be dealt with in SSER Supplement No.
5, which has not yet been served on the parties to this proceeding (except for section 3.11,. wh i ch dealt with environmental qualification issues and was served by letter of Robert G. Perlis, Counsel f or NRC s ta f f, on June 11, 1986.)
SAPL is'particularly interested in the evaluation of. the Applicants' response to Generic Letter 83-28 (" Required Action Based on Generie Implications of Salem ATWS Events").
SAPL hopes that the staff follow-up of this issue will'be of sufficient rigor that L

SAPL will not feel it necessary to litigate the Applicants' response to this generic safety problem.
However, SAPL wishes to preserve its rights to litigate any deficiencies with respect to the treatment of this and other issues in the yet to be served ESER Supplement No.
