RESPONSES TO SENATOR M0YNIHAN'S QUESTIONS Enclosed are responses to questions from the October 30, 1985 hearing on the HLW program.
On November 15, 1985, staff provided an insert for the record responding to a question asked by Senator Moynihan at the hearing concerning the 1998 deadline in the NWPA for disposing of waste. This response was being considered by the Commission until we asked for withdrawat because a similar question (Question 1) was asked in the current set of questions. At the Chairman's request, the staff has prepared an analysis of several questions that were raised at the October 30, 1985 hearing, which the Commission should consider in drafting their insert for the record. This analysis will be forwarded shortly.
The responses to these questions are consistent with the staff's analysis.
