Previous discussions with Mr. Carl Obenchain, EG&G have led to agreement of personnel and scheduling requirements for this task.

P. E. Litteneker, DOE-Idaho, Technical Monitor Date of Order: June 24, 1986 Objective: To provide technical assistance to the Division of Reactor Projects (DRP), Region III, during the Operational Readiness Inspection to be conducted at the Perry Nuclear Power Plant.

Work Requirements: Assist resident and/or region based inspectors in the review of the implementation of the Perry Surveillance program as required by administrative procedures and technical specifications. Also, to assist in reviewing and performing walkdowns of design changes and modifications performed by the licensee since license issuance. These reviews and walkdowns are to be conducted to ensure that the licensee is performing work to safety-related equipment in a controlled manner and meet regulatory requirements.

The DRP Section Chief assigned to the Perry facility l will provide onsite guidance and administrative support.

Level of Effort: 3 Man-weeks Period of Performance: 07/14/86 - 07/23/86 Travel Costs: 2.4 K Material Costs: None Total Estimated Cost for Task Order: 7.6 K Reporting Requirements: EG&G inspection report shall be submitted to the Region III Section Chief (Dick Knop) for inclusion in his inspection report. Three days are allowed at the end of the onsite portion of the inspection for report preparation. Reports shall include the number of manhours utilized inspecting each of the various categories of effort, (surveillance inspection, procedure reviews, design change reviews, etc.)
